This is really funny. Pull your cursor across the screen and click on different items for fun stuff to pop up. I love the Pitbull with Lipstick.
Imagine Palin in the Oval Office . . .

In defense of Joel Dykstra
October 21st, 2008 — Uncategorized
Never thought I would defend Joel, I didn’t vote for him, and I disagree almost a 100% on what he stands for on the issues, but I do agree that Johnson bailing out on the KELO-TV forum tonight is complete B.S.
It wasn’t a debate, so I am not sure why Johnson would bail on it. He says he had to leave town for a meeting on Thursday? What?! Uh, hey Tim, tommorow is Wednesday. Ever heard of an airplane?
I know the tactic Johnson is playing; Joel is a nobody (that’s for sure) and the less I talk about him, the more I benefit. And he is right, Johnson is leading in the polls.
Pretty crazy considering he won’t talk to the press. I hope Johnson remembers his roots before he serves again, but I doubt he will.
Hopefully President Obama can set him straight.
South DaCola Sketches
October 21st, 2008 — McCain, VP Palin, obama
These are some sketches I did while I was on the plane. I know, McCain looks like Kennedy – don’t know why? The Palin one is hard to read, so I will paraphrase. She talks about Obama’s connection to domestic terrorists. Then if you notice, Steve Stolls is burying weapons in his front yard, and there is a Confederate Flag in his window that says ‘John Birch Society’ and the sign in the background says ‘Welcome to Wasilla’
San Fran Vacation – The Maltese Falcon
October 21st, 2008 — Vacation
Tom Perkin’s yacht, one of the most expensive in the world, was docked in the San Fran bay while I was there and I took these shots. It is really beautiful. The black paint had a high gloss finish which I found interesting.

South DaCola book club w/Shepard Fairey
October 21st, 2008 — Art, Fairey, obama
I finally got a copy of this book before I left on vacation, it is amazing and in depth. Shepard is one of the premier graphic designers / pop artists working today. he of course is responsible for this Obama print.
Have a drink on me

Somehow I think some drinkers were celebrating somewhere.
Now if we can just implement a smoking ban, everyone will be happy.
Back from Vacation
October 21st, 2008 — Vacation
I would like to thank all my contributors for holding the fort down while I was gone on vacation. A small group of us went to visit a friend in San Francisco, it was good times and I will be posting pictures once I sort through them. I also will be telling you about the new musical sensation ‘Tittycorn’.
I was pretty much disconnected from the internets and TV while I was gone, BUT did get to see the SNL episode of Palin in a hotel room in Big Sur – so that was cool (she can’t dance).
While I was gone we noticed a great ‘cost of living’ myth that South Dakota likes to sell to it’s residents as an excuse to pay lower wages. We noticed that though apartments and housing are more expensive in San Francisco, other stuff is about the same price, like food, going out to eat, drinks, etc. And the public transportation system is amazing, and dirt cheap. There is approximately two different train systems, buses and cable cars that run everywhere in San Fran and they are usually faster then by car. Bicycling of course is the main form of transportation in San Fran.
I have always been suspicious of the quality of life, cost of living myth our political leaders try to sell us here, and it has been confirmed. Not only is San Francisco a reasonable place to live, it is fairly clean and and a Hell of a lot warmer.
Don’t get me wrong, it is still nice to be home to the sleepy town of Sioux Falls.
Todd Epp’s has ‘ANOTHER’ political Blog
October 21st, 2008 — blog
Guys and Gals:
I have started yet another blog. This one is about the nuts and bolts of politics called Political High. It is about what I think works and doesn’t work in running for office. It is mostly non-partisan. I’m looking to help candidates and consultants of all persuasions with ideas about campaign tactics and methods.
If you would be so kind as to add it to your aggregators or blog rolls, that would be wonderful.
