Could they found an uglier dog?

And Pastor(?) DooHickey over at VoicesCrazy is up in arms. First off, Stevie, the Humane society is an organization that helps animals – not people. It has nothing to do with Planned Parenthood or Abortion. Secondly, unlike the crazies you run with, the Humane Society believes in birth control (they spay and neuter pets before they can be adopted) – ironically the best way to stop unwanted babies (puppies, kitties, etc.) is by not getting pregnant to begin with. What a concept? Huh? And lastly, someone who is anti-war is VERY MUCH, pro-life. (remember over 100,000 innocent (grown/born) children have been killed (or more) since the war in Iraq has begun. Something your candidate, John McCain, refuses to talk about.

7 Thoughts on “Humane Society endorses Obama

  1. Hey Cola to quote you – ironically the best way to stop unwanted babies is by not getting pregnant to begin with…

That attitude would put your beloved Planned Parenthood out of business. Maybe then they could take care of the unwanted animals and the Humane Society.

  2. How would it put them out of business? It would just remove one service they provide.

  3. So, let me get this right. You feel that everyone who has unprotected sex and doesn’t want to have a baby should be spayed or neutered? Somehow, I think the ACLU may not exactly agree with that idea!

  4. You guys will spin anything to fit your bullshit morality police agenda, and to be quite honest with you, I’m sick of your f’ing ignorance and theocratic beliefs. America is a FREE society, not a theocratic society, get used to it, or pack your bags and move to the middle east. You refuse to teach kids about sex, pass laws that limit birth control to adults and then you wonder why people get pregnant.

Let me guess, you are voting for Palin.

Wow l3wis, nothing like going off half cocked.

The majority of the women I know would carry a pregnancy to term, thus giving the child a chance at life, and not using the services of Planned Parenthood. So the ladies who are using the abortion services of P.P. seem to be the ones in need of more sex education.

And really how free is this country? You have the freedom is to choose submit to the laws set forth by society, or to live outside the law at which point the courts will step in and take away your freedom.

  6. Yeah – what a FREE country we live in. I love it… such a free country that we can’t even speak our mind without the threat of being slammed with hate laws. You know what I get sick of? How you only want the freedom to fit when it’s convenient for you and no other time. The banks were given loads of freedom – no the democrats are flipping out at the republicans because they want more gov’t. Get rid of abortion?? No — gov’t stay out.

I think you’re the one who still hasn’t dealt with the fact that this country was founded by Christians, with Christian values. Does that bother you?

Oh and as for sex ed – what a joke. It’s been crammed down the throats of our youth (starting at a younger age each year) and has been for over 30 years. If it was going to work, it should’ve taken affect by now. If you don’t want a baby or don’t want STD’s then don’t sleep around. That’s the only bulletproof answer there is.

This nation was founded by people with many different religious beliefs.
And as to being founded on Christian principles: Which ones? The Jewish ones from the OT?
Look up the peace treaty between the US and the Barbary States from the very early 19th century. It explicitly says that the US was NOT founded or based in any way on Christian principles.
Anyone who told you otherwise was either lying or ignorant.

In fact, I’ll do some digging and base my next submission to this blog on that treaty.
