7 Thoughts on “Was I the only one that noticed that the coverage of the storm lasted 20x longer then the storm itself?

    Shawn Cable needs a haircut.
I yelled that at him during the St. Fattys parade.

I’m going to call it the St. Saturday’s parade from now on, since they don’t do it on the actual holiday.

Back to topic, I thought I was watching the Cartoon Network last night when the ‘Storm Center team’ had all their graphics up for almost an hour for a 15 minute storm.

It didn’t just appear and dissipate above SF, you know. They had to make sure Farmer Bob knew there was a storm coming too.

The few shows the “boss” and I watch are generally on CBS, which during a storm means the “Jay Trobec Show”. Why does the guy look like a kid in the candy store during a blow by?

Luckily for us, we watch reruns of Two And A Half Men on NBC at 6:30, so we didn’t have to put up with much of his blathering. We went somewhere at 7:00. CBS’s Monday nite lineup is our favorite. I spose Jay wrecked a perfectly good “Big Bang” ????

Dude- I know, but here’s my feeling on it, they can go half-screen for most of that crap. I wonder how Jay is feeling about that whole not believing in Global warming these days. A tornado and T-Storms in Eastern SD and 3 feet of snow and a blizzard in the Western half . . .

I’m just wondering why this particular post is filed under Doug Lund. Did I miss an inside joke here?
