Johnson takes payola from pay-day loan lobbyists
One more reason why I have trouble supporting the Democratic party and their candidates. They continue to take money from lobbying groups that are bad for society. And Tim Johnson is no exception, taking money from one of the most crooked (legal) groups, Pay day loan centers;

Using professional services instead of employees saves the city money? BAHAHAHAH!
In some circumstances, I would agree, but we know what kind of love affair this mayor and department heads have with consultants and special interests. I hope the next mayor cleans house.

Daily vs. The City of Sioux Falls Update
“There are numerous citizen reports of unconstitutional city administrative hearings. Once a declaratory judgement is imposed, there will be a class action relative to cases post January 2008 when city codes were changed denying appeals and due process. It would ask for fine refunds and stop action for all cases (not just code citations).”

A federal judge sentenced a Sioux Falls man to probation, a fine and restitution for sending a letter containing animal feces in the mail.
Forty-five-year-old Jeffrey Dezeeuw pleaded guilty to a count of mailing injurious articles.
