10-reasons-to-drink-beer-3

I can think of a few good reasons to change the drinking age to 19.

I have heard underlying inklings that this will be some major legislation next session;

He (Tim Rounds) says he plans to discuss the idea Tuesday when the Legislature’s interim Alcoholic Beverage Control and Licensing Committee meets in Pierre.

I have a feeling this meeting is taking place to get a feel for what the committee thinks of the idea. Hopefully there will be some news on this tomorrow.

    Unless you join the military at 16, 17, or 18 the drinking age should stay at 21. If you’ve got the balls to defend this country you are entitled to a drink.

  7. The main problem during the Nam era was that every locality had different age requirements, encouraging people to drive to different locations. The age should be uniform in ALL locations.
