I guess Rick ain’t running for mayor, unless there is a Rastafarian Party

I have no comment, except at 64 you should know better;
Rick Knobe was pulled over by Sioux Falls police on September 17th. According to court documents, Knobe was cited for driving under the influence of marijuana, or a controlled substance. It happened on west 12th street at about 8 o’clock in the evening. Knobe, who [...]

New Project: BARFLIES

This will be a limited series I will be doing for a NEW Sioux Falls magazine. I had to stay away from current affairs and politics, so it is basically dry bar humor, which is pretty easy to write, considering bars are my second home.

From StormLand TV News:
A South Dakota legislative committee has recommended a substantial boost in taxes used to build and maintain state and local roads, but some lawmakers say the full Legislature will never pass such a large tax increase.

Like a pack of wolves

Last night at the SF City Council meeting, councilor Staggers was attacked for his stance against the ‘recovery zone’ resolution (fast forward to item #10).
StormLand TV had a great story about the resolution before the vote. Now watch the meeting carefully, and don’t get caught up when Costello talks about ’saving money’ or when Staggers [...]

Morning Wood w/ January Jones (H/T- Helga)

Look who is the big star now;

The rest of the first-class cabin is quiet, and January is leaning back into the seat, clutching a cashmere blanket she bought earlier today at the Oprah store with her family, who’d come to Chicago to see her. She’s drinking Bud Light now, telling stories about growing up in [...]
