Great, someone with some common sense
I’m sure the city owners (developers) and the Argus will support Costello. I’ll be looking here for real truth. For me, the candidate who comes out to ‘Repeal Home Rule’ will get my vote. 2010 could be the start of the return to democracy and government by the people and for the citizens.
Don’t get your hopes up PG. As much as I like Staggers, one man is only capable of so much when they are at odds with everyone else, and frankly I’m not so sure Staggers has the widespread appeal that will enable him to be elected by the typical uninformed voter.
Oh, I think Staggers is a lot better known then most of them.
BTW, somebody posted this on an earlier Costello thread today, that I found interesting;
“I am nearly certain that 41st Street holdings refers to his ownership stake in the Ground Round Restaurant on 41st Street. I do know that Cos, Inc. is his Fuddruckers property. Seems a little weird to me that Fuddruckers corporate would allow him to be an owner of another burger restaurant just a mile or so away from his existing enterprise. Pat is a partner with Kent Vucurevich in the Ground Round. Kinda makes you wonder why he has been less-than-forecoming with this information.”
I didn’t know that Costello owned that joint, one more place I will never eat at.
