I heard this morning there is about a 90% chance that Janoct Ajda will be running for mayor again in 2010. Janoct ran in 2006. While he doesn’t really have a chance in Hell of winning, he adds a lot to the debate. This moment from a mayoral debate in 2006 proves that Janoct can be articulate when he wants to be (paraphrasing);

If you give him a chance, Janoct can really kick some science when he wants to. Once he’s had that chance, he doesn’t STFU for anyone… not even a full house at the Orpheum in the middle of a show.
SIT DOWN AND STFU already. We get it. You’re the only black guy in the audience and you are obviously the only one that can relate to the other black guy up on the stage wailing on the bass. Sheesh!

I love him. I wonder if he will bring up taking pieces of the old seats at the Orpheum is okay after a show as long as you are having a musician sign it.

Before the concert Rob Joyce announced they were tearing up the seats and gonna throw them out after that performance.
Janoct was just helping himself to the trash before it made its way into the dumpster.

Talk about a fiscal conservative. Janoct would turn the landfill into a flea market and pay off the city’s debt in 3 years.

If he’s not a member of the ‘L’ developer syndicate and vows to repeal Home-Rule socialism, he qualifies. Other candidates (except Huether) are councilors now and should be ruled out because they watched while this mayor compromised constitutional democracy. Yes, Staggers favors democracy and the common man but he is on the council and voters will be angry by election time. Hopefully, another better qualified candidate will surface.
