11 Thoughts on “I’m running for the US Congress, and if you say something bad about me, I will report you to the FBI, the CIA, the ACLU and my Tuesday morning Bible study group

  1. It’s not just abortion. This guy is out there on so many issues. Although I can’t wait to watch him debate Turd and Nelson. The three stoodges!

He seems to be way out on several things, let alone seeming to be too much of an activist.

  3. I’ll have to admit, I respect Steve for standing up for what he believes in, but if he thinks he can win the Republican nomination for Congress he is batshit crazy. I have had several people approach me to run for city council, but I’m not stupid, I would lose big time, because, like Steve, I speak my mind.

  4. Insightful l3wis, not only on the speaking your mind part but also on the batshit crazy part.

Doesn’t his church run the risk of losing their tax exempt status if he runs? It is a tad difficult to draw a distinction between his duties on Sunday and his message the rest of the week.

He isn’t the only pastor to ever run for office. Certainly there’s a precedent somewhere about what happens to the church.

He doesn’t measure up. His dohickey’s not long enough to do himself.

  8. He kinda does look like Glenn Beck with a goatee.

  9. Yes Steve does say what is on his mind and he is not afraid to stick up for his beliefs. It is called freedom of speech. People want to slam Steve for his stand on abortion yet they tend to forget that the abortion ban had exceptions of rape, incest and life or health of the mother. That basically means that it would ban women from killing a baby as a form of birth control. Get your facts straight people. I can`t see why you people have such a hard time comprehending that fact. Steve stands for the people and the American way. He does not hide his values behind BS like most politicians do just to get your vote. This is America and we are slowly losing American morals and values. We are a Christian nation! If we let our values and morals keep going downhill then pretty soon we will have AMERICA being run by a bunch of hypnotized Obama wannabe robots. Of the 56 men who signed the Constitution, 29 were ordained ministers, men of God. In Psalm 11:3, it is written, “If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?” Are you an American with good morals and beliefs or are you one to simply hide behind your keyboard lashing out at a true American who is not afraid to fight for what America used to stand for? Steve Hickey for Congress is a step forward to winning back our country!
