Wow, finally, someone with a little common sense when it comes to political groups;

Hispanic leaders in Nevada and elsewhere are reportedly considering severing their ties to the Democratic Party andforming an independent, grassroots group called the “Tequila Party.” The idea, according to proponents, is to tap into the rising voting power of Hispanics in order to push for immigration reform and other legislation that Democrats have failed to deliver. 5 Thoughts on “Pass me the lime and salt – this is a political group I can get into (H/T – Dr. Barkey)

  1. I still remember one Saturday I was hanging out at Black Sheep Coffee and Chong was sitting in a table a few feet away with his hottie wife. And a part of me wanted to walk up and be a d-bag fan, then I thought to myself, “If I was Chong, would I want to be bothered while having a Latte.” Nope. So I acted like I had no clue who he was.

    Because the Sioux River is so poluted, rename Sioux Falls ‘Margaritaville’. River urine is a substitute chaser when there’s no salt and lime. It worked at that college party I barely remember.

  3. I worry about you.

  4. Lewis,

    Your story reminds me of one Sunday morning when I lived in San Fran and went to the Haight for brunch. It was one of those Euro-seating style places, where strangers sometime get seated together – because there’s room. I was joined by David Bowie and his hottie super-model wife. We did talk – but just as ordinary people having brunch with strangers.

  5. Was his face a mess? Did he look like a boy or a girl?
