Have you ever searched South Dakota on YouTube? You find some crazy stuff.

Warning, the first video shows the killing of two coyotes. It’s not pleasant.

Video Description via YouTube: “The Alaskan assassin and I take some time out from deer hunting to see if we could call in a few South Dakota song dogs. If USD’s mascot wasn’t the coyote we probably would have let these yotes walk but unfortunately for them it is so they had to die.”

I’m sorry, what is the deal with killing coyotes. I hate it and don’t understand the “sport” of it in the first place.

Take a look at the the dogs at both Second Chance and the SF Humane Society. Most of them are hunting/sporting dogs that I bet, “could not be trained”. Therefore they are dropped off.

And it took three shots from the asshole to put down that first coyote. How awful.

  2. The last video is from Pine Ridge. The reservations, especially PR are notorious for ghost sightings. When you consider the horrific ways many people died especially in the old hospitals and boarding schools it could be easy to see why spirits would remain. That is if you believe in such things.

Farmers and ranchers hate coyotes because they can kill lovestock I guess. Hunters don’t care for them much because they might eat bambi.

Some people sell the hides, but I don’t think they are much use beyond that. Can’t say as I have ever heard anyone talk about eating a Coyote burger.

  4. Coyotes are a nuisance animal and if their population is not kept in check it will explode and result in too many predators without enough to eat, resulting in them starving. The guy was a piss poor shot though.

Keeping coyote population under control is fine with me, but totally unnecessary to glorify this kind of killing. I am an avid hunter myself and I have better sense of ethics than those 2 morons in the first video. Kill to eat or to control population, not for sports!

Middle video refers to unconstitutional restraining orders. Anyone can get one and there’s no day in court for 30 days. They drop it before that. There’s no punishment or damages recourse. The law was meant for battered women but it’s used as legal harrassment much more often. I had one invoked by a certain now fired city employee. Three 30ish 220# athletic men named me (a disabled 61 year old veteran). Your freedom is guarranteed by the constitution but (realistically) there’s more freedom in Libya than in Sioux Falls. I would take this to supreme court but I already have a similar case pending. In SD, it’s rare to find citizens who will fight to protect their freedom.

Yes, it’s another Staggers (false ethics complaint) type of retaliation.
