Councilor Entenman, a self-proclaimed ‘Crowning Jewel’ of a city councilor

Just a few minutes ago, at the beginning of the SF city council’s informational meeting, councilor Entenman went off on a written diatribe about the ‘attacks’ on him by the Build it Downtown group. They filed a complaint/opinion to the ethics board on whether Jim had a conflict of interest when it comes to his property by the Arena and the possible construction of a new EC at that location. Didn’t seem like an attack to me. Any citizen can question the ethics of any public servant. That’s part of the job Jim, listening to the public that elected you and pays you. When you take an oath of office, you no longer work for a motorcycle franchise, you work for us. If you have a problem with that, instead of crying in an informational meeting, why don’t you do us all a favor and resign. Otherwise, buck up and take the punches with the back pats.

16 Thoughts on “SF Councilor Entenman finds out what it means to be a public servant, but does he understand it?

Right on! Arrogant behavior. Go ahead and blame BID, they are going to be blamed for everything about this EC going down anyway. Easy whipping dogs because they have been the only vocal group. Whine, whine, whine.

I don’t care who he blames, it really irks me when ANY public servant cries when a citizen has a LEGITIMATE question or complaint about ethics. It seems public servants think that AFTER the election they can do whatever, because they have been elected. It doesn’t work that way, you have to continue to listen to the public.

Stormland has the video, which seems odd, Entenman must have tipped them off

OMG he sounds like a Huether clone. Me, Me, Me.

Doesn’t he understand an ethics complaint has to do with his service as a councilor and has nothing to do with his deceased parents or other family? Someone needs to send him a box of tissues.

Uh… I have an ethics complaint against Huether. He took an oath to protect and defend the constitution and state supreme court says he hasn’t.

Munchkin mayor is ready-fire-aim. It’s immature and a male puberty problem.

  8. How about a steel cage to the death match between Entenman and BID? Hopefully neither side survives.

Jim would probably lose, since he is probably all show and no go like the motorcycles he sells 🙂

  10. The only thig that has brought this complaint forward were the actions of Councilor Entenman. The more he tries to make it about an attack on his family the more it shows how close to the truth the complaint actually is.

Enteman himself has held out the AECOM report as to why we should build at the site, and that same report says they project a whopping $6.7 million of commercial development around this $100 million+ project. It doesn’t matter a hill of beans if his property is for sale or not, if there’s a potential gain he needs to step aside like every other Councilor has done in the past in similar situations.

What I cannot figure out is why he would say anything before the ethics committee gives their decision? We both know that they will say everything is well and good, I know how that dog and pony show works. I knew Entenman as a councilor was a bad idea, the guy running against him was ten times the man.

Hmmm, ethics complaints against councilors. A strong weapon to stall an events center committment til after 2014. I think ______ watches porn on his council computer. Doesn’t have to be viable and there’s no repurcussions for complainant but major problems for complaint subject. Ask Staggers.

Why would you run for council? The mayor overrules council votes, it pays nothing, and you’re a traitor to the community. Now, you’ve mad a fool of yourself in public. Why?

A city director has already been canned over ‘suspected’ child porn usage during the Munson years, let’s not go there.

  15. Yes, the exact same person behind the “Munson is God” plaque at Falls Park.

He also was instrumental in SculptureWalk, even though the founder of SW will deny it. But I attended the VAC meetings when it was being cooked up, and he was the point man. It always makes me chuckle when I see a nude in SW, it reminds me of him. I have often thought of submitting a sculpture of a large flashdrive that was clear acrylic and when you look thru it, you see images of porn.
