Dude, Pee-Wee is much more fun. Ryan is Gabe from The Office.
Certainly a resemblance. I’m more impressed with Ryan than Romney. He’ll have a future after Romney loses. I vote my conscience. Not necessarily party aligned. Obama’ s got flaws but he’s a better choice given his first term experience. He got Bin Laden. I don’t agree with Obamacare but he’s managed to incite change before the system collapsed. Clinton & both Bushmasters made attempts but Obama initiated. He’s made a good start bringing the economy out from the mortgage & financials mess. Jobs and recovery take time. Romney would be a backstep.
A SEAL team and in general the military got Bin Laden. Barack sat in his easy chair and watched it on TV. We can compare Paul Ryan’s likeness to Pee-Wee Herman but what has Joe Biden done for anyone but open his month and ramble on something for hours?
I rather think Ryan more resembles Mr. Bean. Mr. Ryan’s policies about social issues should make every woman in this country cry foul and every man who cares about a woman question how they could consider voting for a Republican and their Party Platform. The ads are misleading when quotes are taken out of context and all the little sheep who are being led by big money in this country follow and like lap dogs regurgitate their rhetoric and share it everywhere like it’s gospel. We will see what happens to this country when the Republic Party takes over the other two Executive Branches of government. Watch out, you might not like what you thought you wanted. And Clint Eastwood last night was just bizarre! Ok, now I will sit back and wait for the hateful responses. Most of these repugs are so easy to bait.
So Pam, tell me how the liberals who all simultaneously and repetitively regurgitate all of the the same liberal discussion points and quips are *NOT* sheep.
I think Ryan looks like that creepy puppet in the 1970s movie “Magic”. It’s hideous.
Muq – Don’t you mean ‘Repugs’ regurgitating talking points?
Hey Muq, tell it to a chair.
Helga – I would like to give a shout out to you for buying me a beer! Woo-Hoo!
The tragic irony of the night was before I left DT I ran into the Unruhs. While I love talking to them about politics, we couldn’t be more opposite.
DL, you are so far left you can’t make a right turn. As there are some who can’t make a left turn. Please don’t depict yourself as somewhere in between. You are not. You are not different from the Unruh’s, just opposite end of the political spectrum. BTW, if we are voting on looks, why the hell is someone going to vote for Urkel and his retarded cousin? Oops, I guess that’s looks followed by mentality. Go Joey B! That dude is off the hook
There are *original* liberal talking points? Where?
NPO – Thanks for the compliment, though I don’t think I am that liberal.
l3wis, you are welcome. Gotta watch out for Hurricane Leslie’s.
Muqhtar: “A SEAL team and in general the military got Bin Laden.”
Not so fast… the Commander in Chief is ultimately responsible for both the successes and the failures of military action under his or her command. I know those on the right don’t like it, but the fact is Obama gets to take credit for Bin Laden because he gave the ok, he was involved in the planning, and he put his reputation on the line if things didn’t work out as planned or if members of our military were killed in the process.
Bush was quick to point out how great it was that Saddam was removed from power and took full credit for regime change even though he wasn’t directly involved, and those on the right were quick to give him full credit. Then again he also took credit for “winning” the war in Iraq and proclaimed Mission Accomplished a few years too early, but nobody on the right seemed to have any issues with that either.
I know it upsets many conservatives that Obama was able to do what Bush could not, and I know it upsets them even more that he has had much more military success than his predecessor, but sometimes that is just how things work out. Give them man credit where credit is due… there are plenty of other areas you can find to criticize him on.
“A SEAL team and in general the military got Bin Laden.”
Saying that Barack Obama didn’t cause the death of Osama Bin Laden because he wasn’t there on the ground with the troops is like saying Osama Bin Laden didn’t cause 9-11 because he wasn’t flying one of the planes…
Pretty much.
