Is ALEC trying to sneak thru the backdoor? Of course.

Do you think it is okay that this organization is influencing our State SOS, PUC, AG and legislature? You be the judge;

The Republican Study Committee is laying the groundwork for a new informal partnership with the American Legislative Exchange Council, even as dozens of major corporations cut ties with the conservative nonprofit for its support of controversial voting and gun laws.

The RSC is working quietly with ALEC to host a gathering next Friday at the Heritage Foundation in hopes of establishing an ongoing relationship with the group that would allow federal lawmakers to exchange ideas with state legislators.

You know – the SD Constitution says we are to be an INDEPENDENT government – yes? Could reliance on groups like ALEC as a source of legislation be unconstitutional?

Anyone can suggest or advise, our problem is the sale of the soul to a devil in the guise of an actual public service.

Why do these elected and appointed officials have to sell out to people and corporations who do not even care about us or South Dakota. Has the greed money machine completely taken over all sense?

That bastard Gant. He has lost all sense.

Look who is a proud member of the RSC, the proud horse rider Kristi Nomind :

They proudly claim they are stopping any advancements for everyday people. Teamed up with ALEC they of course will accomplish less for South Dakota. “The group has played a major role in key policy areas including budget, appropriations, taxes, education, Social Security reform, defense, deregulation, and general government reform.”

Heritage Foundation – give me break – that organization’s foundation bases all opinions and allegations on lies. Things which never actually happened or were set up to happen so they could have a platform to misguide you from the real issues.

Right up Gant’s alley.
