H/T to Kory VanSickle for the cool picture,

I know I have busted your balls in the past, but it is all cool now. The R & R Academy is going to be awesome.

9 Thoughts on “Music Club w/ ME!

  1. COOL!!

  2. The crazy part was I wasn’t even taken back by meeting Alice. He was super friendly and so relaxed. I often have ‘gut’ feelings about things, and even though I don’t care much for the ‘dollar loan center’ I have positive feelings about the academy, I think it will be wildly popular. We are pretty lucky to have such a club in town, and the kids should take full advantage of it.

You lucky dog. Alice Cooper looks good. Maybe he didn’t succumb to sex, drugs, and R&R like most rock stars.

  5. Nice, I met him at a restaurant in Phoenix back around ’95 and had the same take. Great, down-to earth guy who’s into giving back to the kids.

As for the R&R academy, I think it will be a huge benefit to that neighborhood and kids in general. I was always hoping something like this would’ve taken root at the Pavillion so it would tie in with the SD R&R Hall of Fame, but this will work.

  6. It is nice to see the Pavilion is NOT involved for once. They have sucked up enough youth programs in this city. I’m sure if the academy would have moved into the Pavilion, Mary Sommervold would have probably rolled over in her grave. Heck, there is probably something in her naming rights writer/contract that NO R & R education programs will be allowed in the Pavilion, and I’m not even being sarcastic.

  7. I didnt know you and Alice were bros

  8. . . . school’s out for summer. I’m just sayin’

You kinda resemble Buddy Holly. Don’t get on that small plane with Valens.
