I met Emmett at the courthouse. Good impression. Very aware of city debt and real problems. His youth is maybe an answer to the stogginess, stubbornness, and good old boys network.

  2. So having a party and using a flyer that looks like a rave to kick off his campaign. Might work if you’re running for sorority president. DOA before he even begun.

He may want to research the average age of today’s voters.

  3. Outstanding young visionary. Very energetic and will move Sioux Falls in the right direction. Emmett will bring innovative and new ideas to the table. He is approachable, humble and most of all, NOT A POLITICIAN. He has a very bright future in public service. Sioux Falls is very fortunate to have Emmett who will be a great advocate for the people of your great city. It’s time for some new blood who has the passion and will get the young people educated and energized.

  4. And he likes weed!

  5. @LJL my core base of supporters is a bunch of excited young people and the graphic was designed to appeal to them on Facebook. The party will not be a rave, but hopefully have very high energy! The young people have never had any real voice in South Dakota…… and we might surprise you!
    Best,
    Emmett

South Dakota should like weed. It’s legal in 2 states and semi-legal in 9 others. Colorado anticipates 400 million in tax gain next year. For agriculture, it could be like the silicon valley boom of the 80’s.

You might just be the Wild Card we need on the Council, Emmett, but do you understand local issues?

Any report on how the rave went down? I couldn’t make it because of home improvements needed.

  9. ITS NOT A RAVE DAMMIT.
