5 Thoughts on “Think 29

  1. Thanks, Scott. We need to catch up.

  2. Think I am taking the new hot rod out for a spin on Sunday, I think Yankton is on the agenda. Give you a call?

Let me add to your tech corridor perception.

Your pink box is the most productive farmland in the world. There’s no corporate or personal income tax in SD.
It’s easier to form & maintain a corporation here than in any other state.
No sales tax on services if your clients are out of state.
No sales tax for products received in other states.
30 flights a day to most US business centers.
An EPA approved oil refinery location. 1st in 20 years.
Parallel to I-29 is proposed for Canada pipeline.
Not an earthquake or hurricane zone.
    Soils suitable for multi-story construction.
The major underground aquifer in the US.

Growth, you betcha. Silicon valley & Texas scale, certainly.

Think 29 is a perfect name. Partly because it’s not Sanford.

Sioux Falls is already being left out. We don’t have a democratic form of government & political corruption is rampant. Focus your presentations on Fargo, Sioux City, Watertown, & Yankton. Brookings has become Home Rule Charter with similar civil rights issues.
