That was at about 9:15 AM. How sad is it that the County buys brand new vote tabulation machines that cost $100K each and they just finish counting. I guess the problem was that the new machines wouldn’t count ballots that had comments or spills on them, it would spit them out. There was a ton of votes that had to go through the resolution board. But hey, does it matter, the National Press called the election at 8 PM last night.

As I assumed it was a clean sweep for the Republicans, the Dems in this state really need to get their poop in a group.

Their was some positives though. The Dems had a great victory with the Minimum Wage increase, and I will give Zach Crago credit on that, it’s just too bad he failed on party work.

Some other people had awesome victories last night.

Jeff Barth, Joni Cutler, John Pekas, Karen Soli all won.

I told Rick Weiland last night he ran the best campaign I have ever seen in years. You could tell that Rick was very proud of his campaign, and even if he lost, he should not have any regrets. None.

Now we will wait for our NEW senator to be indicted. Wanna make any bets on how long the Feds will wait?

It amazes me how politicians are so corrupt yet voters cheer them on and reelect them. The subject should not be if Rounds will be indicted but bets on who he’ll be replaced with.

Daurguard made a win statement that he’ll be focusing on roads and rails in his second term. Translation: Keystone.

  2. another awesome by bob litz.

Proud or delusional? Visiting some towns, singing some songs is that all it takes to impress you? The selling himself as middle class normal guy when he is a millionaire was impressive I guess.

How is Jeff Barth finishing 3rd in a pick 3 race awesome?

  4. Well it ain’t much different then Rounds having a short memory about EB-5.

  5. The Democratic party continues to “eat their own.” They have good candidates – yet – when it comes to go time – they all bail. Why? Because their very own party doesn’t support them properly. They virtually took Stephanie Herseth out of office because she wasn’t liberal enough. Then they pit Brendan Johnson against Stephanie behind closed doors. And then – the national Democratic party basically comes in and ruins Rick Weiland’s campaign. Would he have won? – doubt it – but his own party destroyed whatever chance there was. And now what does this party have in this state – nada, zilch, zero.

You can continue to go after and blame the Republican party – but as you said – until the Dems get their poop in a group – it is difficult to point the finger at the other side and for some of us to take that seriously.

As a side note – I am a Republican and I did not vote for Mike Rounds and I did not vote for Bob Litz. At the end of the day – I vote with my intelligence and common sense – not a straight party ticket.

Thanks Karma for not voting for Rounds or Litz. I’m Indy and I vote my conscience. It’s republicans if they’re honest and relative.

This election I felt like a spectator at a wrestling or boxing match. It’s fake or rigged. You know you’re a fool for cheering but it’s entertainment between the World Series and Super Bowl.

My biggest complaint, I couldn’t vote against Huether or another hundred million sports temple.
