13 Thoughts on “Mayor Huether takes his gubernatorial campaign to Deadwood today!

  1. “It’s all about the confidence?” The confidence game?

Steve Carell will play your mayor in the biopic.

There’s something very wrong if he’s elected governor. Maybe South Dakotans are not so bright but anyone should be able to see through this fake. He’s lost many campaign contributer allies. For once, I’m hoping big bucks republican insiders pony up. If he’s the democratic candidate, this independant will vote republican.

Also, to #7, a progressive state income tax is the best thing that could happen to South Dakota, especially if it was significant enough to ratchet back the sales tax or fund sales tax exemptions on food, clothing, or other necessities. Hell, make it large enough so the state can get rid of its poor tax as well – video gaming – and fund schools and local governments through more constructive mechanisms.

    Keep talking Mike.

Hopefully, West River finds him to be as big a turn-off as Sioux Falls residents.
