It will be this Thursday at 1:30 at Carnegie Hall. This address used to happen AFTER a municipal election, but Mayor Huether has used it to campaign for certain projects. It will be interesting what he says about the upcoming election and if there will be any veiled endorsements.

The state of the city is debt from corruption. An unpopular events center next to a more popular pawn shop is one reason. Misusing federal funds for an Olympic indoor swim team center is another. There’s half a billion in debt service that’s become like credit cards. Pay the interest without reducing the principle. Now he wants to build an empty free parking garage with our daily blood donations for the next 20 years.
