Seems they are taking a page from city hall, hiding financials as long as they can while getting millions from the CIP for facility upgrades on a building that is merely a teenager.

After the annual meeting held each June, the annual report is released. I have been told that the meeting was held, but as you can see, the annual report is NOT available online yet. or try;

Looks like Director Darrin Smith is off to good (non-transparent) start. He learned from the best.

4 Thoughts on “Where is the Washington Pavilion’s 2015 Annual Report?

  1. Looks like the pavilion isn’t the only one. The finance department hasn’t released their 2015 annual report and neither has the fire department.

    I didn’t think city financials were bad in 2015 (other than the huge debt load) so I’m not sure what is going on there.

    I’m guessing there’s no cell service at the lake and we have to wait for summer vacation to be over for work to resume before we see an annual report out of fire department management.

    The Pavilion budget is still recorded for the Aquatics Center. I suspect each tax dollar is spent double and triple via city finance creative accounting.

    What’s the difference between a politician and the city finance director? A politician can lie, get caught, and the public refuses to believe. The city finance director fabricates spending based on playing monopoly and can’t separate gaming versus reality.

  4. Finance, took the hint. Their annual report for 2015 is now on the City’s website but the fire department’s is still missing.

    Too busy shooting fireworks off at the lake.
