Took a couple of days, but at least they are being forthright;

Argus Leader Media News Director Cory Myers was arrested Saturday night for suspected drunken driving following a traffic stop on Interstate 229 in Lincoln County.

Most are shocked it wasn’t someone else at the AL, especially after I saw this certain reporter (the someone else) driving down Phillips Avenue last summer with a pint of beer in his hand. When I questioned him about it, he said he was looking for a closer parking spot to Stogeez. Maybe he will learn something from his boss.

    I’d drink too given the problem times at the Argus. It’s not just an obsolete business plan. It’s being restricted from reporting corruption at city hall. What was worse was a year or so ago an attorney at city hall was stopped for DUI. He’s assigned for police legal matters. He wasn’t reprimanded and holds his position. The rest of us get arrested for Events Center inferior design comments or smoking outside in an open field with one foot inside city limits. When cannabis becomes legal, we must get fat from brownies instead of inhale. Pot in some form is now legal in 29 states.

  2. it must have been research for the argus beer blog.

  3. Hmm, I thought there might be some kudos here to the Argus for actually printing Myers alleged infraction.

  4. I said ‘at least they are being forthright.’ That’s about all the kudos they are getting from me.
