I wasn’t able to find the ghost of Tuthill, will I find it when I call for an ambulance?

I guess at the REMSA meeting on Wednesday the board is renaming ‘Phantom’ ambulance in their Metro 911 training guide. Who wants to guess what the new name will be? I’m going with Morning Fog or Casper?

Cameraman Bruce plans to film the historic moment.

5 Thoughts on “REMSA to re-name their Ghost

Ghost Busters. Call the ‘Phantom’ ambulance ‘Magic’. Now you see it, then you won’t.

  2. To reduce ambulance costs, perhaps they could sell naming rights for it…?

Expensive burden on taxpayers, poor attendance record, held in high regard by Director Franken – I hope the call them Entenmans.

  4. Oh, and if the naming rights thing does not pan out, then I suggest we use either the word “TrumpCare,” “RyanCare,”, or merely the word “Replace,” because we already know that each of these three words are already associated with a concept which is phantom, and they all have a medical relevance too….

  5. I’m guessing it won’t be “Code 5”, “Level Zero”, or “980”, they’ve already used all of those names to try and hide when the service provider is out of ambulances.

If REMSA, the City officials, and the provider aren’t trying to hide anything or be deceptive, then why not just call it what it is? Why keep changing the code name every time the public finds out what it means?
