Okay, that isn’t fair. He did try to monkey around with some executive orders a few years ago. While I think it is great he signed on with this program, I will also say it is easy to support controversial social issues when you have one foot out the door. That’s Mike, always ‘Getting stuff done’.

4 Thoughts on “It only took 7 years and 8 months, but Mayor Huether now supports LGBT rights

  1. My sound advice for the Mayor is to climb some peaks, take a walk in the woods. Because it is not now, August of 2009, and you have just resigned from First Premier. Rather it is 2018, (Yes, Dr. Emmett Brown, Donald Trump is our President) and time to reflect and not worry about impressing.

After your time out and cleansed of the Janklow obsession, you can become the man who built the Events Center, but not the same man who picked the siding. The man who once gave us an aquatic center and now is truly ready to do a real “cannon ball” for the people – and who understands that a true and good “Legacy” comes from the ability to rebuild from a collapse or misjudgments. Because talent creates things while greed overtime destroys things, so it is time now to reflect, atone, and repair.

That is the Mayor I want and as a Democrat, also, once again. But that “Democratic Mayor” must leave us for a while in order to truly prove that he is “…still there for you Sioux Falls….. and South Dakota.”

VSG. huether never was, is, or will be a democrat.

  3. Well, too many Democrats are not Democrats, but “hope springs eternal”….
