You have a lot more insider info than me. In fact, my inside info comes from you, Lalley, and the Argus. Which begs the question. I also would not lose much sleep with Greg as mayor, but what am I missing? I say Jolene one, tenhaken two.

TOTAL LACK OF EXPERIENCE IN GOVERNMENT.

WP – If we predict the election outcome based on Facebook noise, I’d agree with your assessment of Jolene-1 and PTH-2. But don’t overlook the fact that Jamison had 45% of the vote in the last mayoral election. And he is the only one of the six candidates who remains actively engaged in public service.

Most of my friends, people who vote but don’t engage in social media, are dismissive of Jolene’s campaign. I think that is a mistake. They tend to see the runoff between Jamison and either PTH or Entenman.

Honestly, I have PTH and Entenman fatigue from their six month, self-promotion barrage of billboards and mailers. I think they’ve peaked already and are losing their momentum.

My money is on a Greg vs. Jolene runoff. Contrasting styles, for sure. But, more importantly, contrasting resumes and accomplishments that people need to seriously consider. Can we afford someone in charge of our city’s $467m annual budget who brags about using her “last $300” to start a dog poop business?

  4. as a totally unscientific poll at work, a middle aged woman said she was going to vote for jamison. given that it’s old people who vote for the most part, i’d pick him in the top two. jolene needs to remind the old people she was on kelo.

MMM. Good analogy on your part. Guess I seea lot of social media for Jolene. Either way, if you are right about the runoff, it’s win win.

Jolene also MC’d a couple, maybe a few years for the SF Municipal Band when they did their summer swing thru retirement villages. I seen a couple of them. She connected real well with seniors. I have also been to a couple mayoral forums. She handles herself well, and I think anyway, she has a message that resonates.

I voted already for Jolene. You mentioned she had passion and compassion. She also has honesty. It’s something that’s been missing at city hall. It hasn’t been bold lies but it sure seems there’s always a new stance with lots of lost background. Putting a 2 year gag order on city personnel is criminal censure. It’s more proof the Siouxper Nero Mayor is a dictator. He’s not been specific on where he’s going after his reign. How about Argentina where he can hide with Nazi war criminals?
