I was at Dem Forum today when Kenny endorsed Jo. Sorry we didn’t Livestream the event, I guess it was a record attendance;

Today, Loetscher received the endorsement from one of the other candidates. Kenny Anderson Jr. announced his support for Loetscher at the VFW in Sioux Falls.

“It’s just an incredible moment for us to know that Kenny has served this city so tremendously, and his whole family has. And for him to say that he stands behind our vision and our belief, really means a lot to us,” says Loetscher.

Anderson says he could have sat back and watched the runoff play out, but he says the decision to endorse Loetscher was easy for him.

“I feel that Jolene will have that open ear, to all people of our city, not just one segment, and that was a real deciding factor for me,” says Anderson.

Thank you for running Kenny and thank you for your service.

3 Thoughts on “Kenny Anderson Jr. Endorses Loetscher

  1. This endorsement doesn’t hurt at all, and while Jo says she is running for mayor and not against her opponent, it is imperative that those who support Jo get out the message, that the difference between Jo and Paul is that Paul is a continuation of Mayor Mike, the quintessential salesman, and what Sioux Falls needs is a new leader and not a continuation of the same old thing with Paul. Because Paul may be young like Jo, but his ideas and approach are “nothing” new or rather the same old song and dance….

    I was impressed with this endorsement. Thankyou Mr. Anderson. I favor Jolene for Mayor but Anderson would have also been a good choice.

    I know that it had to be hard for Kenny Anderson to lose in the first round of the City election. As an experienced city leader he was a credible choice for mayor. Losing is tough but Kenny is a strong fella.

    Being present when Kenny made the Loetscher endorsement Friday I was impressed with his statesman like action.

    Thanks Kenny!
    Let’s go Jo!
