As you can see visitor stays are down this year. It was said that during Pheasant Fest many people just drove to the event and went home at night instead of spending the night. I wonder if higher gas prices this summer will also contribute to lower visitor numbers?

Let’s see, gases prices are rising. For the first time in forty years, we are selling domestic crude to foreign markets; and our Republican congressional delegation in Washington supported this move to sell our crude in foreign markets… Huh?
