    Thank you Theresa for all you have done for this city. You did a very similar thing on the annexation issue. There is no doubt in my mind, without your activism in that issue, there would have 4 meetings, all on a monday afternoon at 2pm in the backroom of the DT library. Annexation would look a whole lot different today without your call to arms. This city does listen…to public outcry. You did it again with public input. Salute.

    The best way to discover city subject matter is via citizen reporters. Commercial news media is no longer investigative. With the internet they’re barely profitable and can’t afford research. Police will tell you their best patrol is observant residents. Indeed, one of the frequent commenters at Public Opinion has worked with police identifying areas where there’s flagrant crime. The council would not have known about events center siding without citizen notification.
    How can they condemn free public sentiment an expensive postal or robocall survey doesn’t reveal.
