I encourage my readers to attend this event if you never have. I have always had a blast and has been a wonderful learning experience. Plus the vendor booths are worth the visit alone!

  2. Drag queen story time at the library. Imagine your outrage if this were a bible reading story time by a priest.

LJL. LOL. That would never happen, Catholics don’t read the bible.

  4. You’re using too cheap of bait to hook me.

We need to add a constitutional amendment stating” the government will establish no sexual orientation”.

  5. So why the outrage that the mayor is not attending? Being gay is a lifestyle choice why do they need the city to endorse it? If a man and women start dating does the mayor need to go on their date and read a proclamation that he is for it?

WP – I’m not upset he isn’t attending. He has plans with his family for Father’s Day. I think that is a fair excuse. Even if he didn’t oh well. But I do disagree with you, while I think some people choose sexual orientation, I think that number is very small. I think most are born that way. There have been thousands of studies about it for over 60 years.

  7. I maybe misspoke, it is not really a choice people make but it is a lifestyle people live. I just don’t see why the city has to endorse it. Some people like Star Wars but if they had a Star Wars convention here and the mayor did not attend would it make the Argus Leader?

  8. I maybe misspoke. People don’t really choose to be gay. I am just saying its a lifestyle not a race or ethnic background. Why does the city need to endorse it?
Some people like Country Music some don’t but did the mayor have to speak at Garth Brooks’ concert?

I know for me I was born transgender . People are born this way .A man comes from a woman a clitorious is a undeveloped penis . Not to get to Graphic but on males theres a scar underneath scrodem where the vaginal has closed up and a developed penis was formed during pregnancy. You cant wake up one day and say I’m goona be transgender.
