There’s an advance approval process before one can carry a gun into the state capitol. It seems the state wants to be known as a Gun State yet there should not be a gunfight with liberals when there’s treehugger legislation.
I met a young West Texas engineer at DFW once. We were flying to New York for business. At security, he opened his briefcase to reveal a 44 magnum. It wasn’t just a pistol, it was a cannon. I got big eyes, turned pale, and looked at him stating ‘We’re going to jail’. I think the Noem gun position is to make carrying a gun into the capital without approval a misdemeanor. There are those west river congressmen who forget they’re packing when they enter.
Who in their right mind would need to take a concealed gun into the Capitol building of all places and what the hell is the rationale behind this moronic legilation???
