August 17th, 2013 — governor 2010, Governor Mark Sanford, Governor Moose Drool, Governor Rick Perry, Governor Rounds, Governor Sean Parnell
Not sure what to think of this;
A former University of South Dakota law professor announced Friday that he plans to run for governor as an independent candidate.
Mike Myers taught health care law and elder law at USD for 23 years. He also worked in the early 1960s for the Argus Leader and the Sioux City Journal.
But it’s in health care where Myers has his most significant experience. He was CEO of Mayo-St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, Minn., and an executive with other hospitals.
Myers has been an outspoken critic of the vertically integrated health systems reflected by Sanford Health and Avera McKennan, which he called “oligopolies.” And he said that health care and criticism of “corporate medicine” will be the crux of his campaign.
The Dems would be smart to get behind him and not have a candidate of their own. The amazing part is he is about 900x smarter then our current governor, and has given the middle finger to the political party system.
This will be fun. Dennis better get out his cod piece.

July 13th, 2010 — bluegal, Governor Moose Drool
This is why I have a secret obsession with bluegal
She refers to Sarah Palin as ‘Quitty McQuitter’ sounds like a sandwich that would definately hurt to eat.
July 8th, 2010 — Governor Moose Drool, Michael Steele, RNC
While I think Michael Steele is a gigantic idiot (gigantic) I think Palin as the new RNC chair would be the biggest gift to Democrats since she f’d up McCain’s nomination for president. Please, Please, Please, appoint her!
Notice that Democrats are mysteriously silent about it . . . because behind the scenes they are either drooling about the possible appointment or laughing their asses off, or both.
Some conservatives may want Sarah Palin to take over the role of chairman of the Republican National Committee from Michael Steele, but chances are slim the high-priced speech-maker would want it.
May 17th, 2010 — Cartoon, Governor Moose Drool, Michele Bachmann, Orley Titz, Palin
Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) posed for a picture with Birther leader and California secretary of state candidate Orly Taitz at a tea party lunch event in California Friday, Taitz tells TPM.
Taitz and Bachmann both spoke at a lunch sponsored by the Tea Party Patriots, Taitz said in an email. But Birtherism did not come up at the event, according to Taitz.
“Michelle Bachmann spoke at the lunch, however she did not talk about eligibility, but rather general status of economy, politics and elections,” Taitz says. “I spoke at the lunch, however I did not speak about ongoing legal actions involving Obama’s use of ss number 042-68-4425, which was assigned to another individual, I also did not talk about Obama’s refusal to unseal his original birth certificate, currently sealed in HI or any other issues of Obama’ illegitimacy to presidency which are raised in the pleadings. I talked only about my candidacy for the position of the Secretary of State of CA.”
Bachmann was in California for two days for a tour organized by Phyllis Schlafly’s Eagle Forum, state Eagle Forum president Orlean Koehle tells TPM. Bachmann’s office did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
