President Hugo Chavez Frias never had any problems working with President William Jefferson Clinton. Mad King George Bush II was another matter – the man who overthrew social democracies in Haiti and briefly in Venezuela April 2002 and threatened to invade Nicaragua.

If as I expect the President Barack Hussein Obama will prove himself the best President the United States has ever had, there will be no lasting challenges between Washington and Caracas.
