This has to be one of the funnier RUSH ass-slamming moments. Usually RUSH hangs up on these people, but for some reason he let the caller kick the crap out of him.

CALLER: Thanks, Rush. Rush, listen, I voted Republican, and I didn’t — really didn’t want to see Obama get in office. But, you know, Rush, you’re one reason to blame for this election, for the Republicans losing.

First of all, you kept harping about voting for Hillary. The second big issue is the — was the torture issue. I’m a veteran. We’re not supposed to be torturing these people. This is not Nazi Germany, Red China, or North Korea. There’s other ways of interrogating people, and you kept harping about it — “It’s OK,” or “It’s not really torture.” And it was just more than waterboarding. Some of these prisoners were killed under torture.

And it just — it was crazy for you to keep going on and on like Levin and Hannity and Hewitt. It’s like you’re all brainwashed.

And my last comment is, no matter what Obama does, you will still criticize him because I believe you’re brainwashed. You’re just — and I hate to say it — but I think you’re a brainwashed Nazi. Anyone who could believe in torture just has got to be – there’s got to be something wrong with them. His only defense against the caller is to say he’s not a Republican…

13 Thoughts on “Caller calls RUSH a brainwashed Nazi. I wonder why he was being so nice.

Godwin’s law applies to the radio now.

I love how calmly the caller calls him a Nazi.

Anytime this happens Rush just ends the call and uses the next half hour disecting every word of the caller to explain how they aren’t a Republican or how they are a liberal trying to make him look bad. Usually his call screeners do a good job of filtering out any differing opinions, but I guess this one snuck through.

Awesome. The caller could have done without the Nazi label and just stuck with brainwashed… but unti that point he did pretty well, and I think he was spot on.

He was great. I like the part when he asked Rush about his military service – too bad he didn’t bring up the ass cyst.

I’m not so sure about the brainwashed nazi thing. I think he’s just a smart entertainer. He knows he has a market of people who hang on his every word, so he plays to it brilliantly. There are a lot of conservative nutball “real amurricans” out there who will tune in religiously to his show. If he moderates at all, he loses them.

Actually I agree with you. Rush isn’t probably so brainwashed, but he does a good job of doing the brainwashing.

Above all else Rush and his compatriots are nothing but entertainers. When people look to them as anything else it shows a lack of awareness on their part.

I fully realize liberal talk radio isn’t nearly as popular (especially in this region) but I wonder if that is due to them simply not being as good at it, or if it is due to the audience being too well educated to fall for it.

Costner – funny you bring that up, I should get out the googles, but there was a study not to long ago that showed that liberals were more educated then conservatives (I know, no big surprise).

Conservatives know they’re right, and don’t need any pencil-necked professor or fancy booklearnin’ to find that out. Out here in Real America(tm), we learn from hard work and Glenn Beck’s radio show.

I liked his story about the FEMA concentration camps that turned out to be an AMTRAK repair garage. Funny stuff.

What about all those plastic “coffins” they found on government land?

I had a good laugh when I saw that. If you were going to exterminate millions of peopele, would you bury each of them in an individual coffin, or pile ’em up and light a match?
At least conspiracy theorists are good for a laugh.
