11 Thoughts on “Iran should not have let Florida vote

There is no comparison with our election in 2000. Iran’s election was not only rigged, but it looks like it was rigged by a moron. Ahmadinnerjacket “won” by the same margin in every region – including Mousavi’s own. This is pretty significant because his region of the country is neavily Azeri, and would vote for one of their own every time.
This would be the equivalent of McCain winning the black vote by 95% to beat Obama.

Oh, I know. I just find it hypocritical for the media to be freaking out about voter fraud in Iran, but it took a BBC reporter to report the facts about the 2000 election debacle, while our MSM remained silent. They only seem to care when OTHER countries do it, I guess.

Boy, you nailed that one Scott.

An election comes down to one final state – a state in which the Attorney General makes some last minute rules changes on vote counts – and that AG is an appointee of the brother of the candidate…

The changes force the decision up to the Supreme Court – which decides in the candidates favor with a count of 5 – 4…

the deciding justice had been appointed by the candidate’s daddy… a man who had headed up the secret spy agency, the CIA, before becoming President himself..

The candidate “wins” …by 5 electoral votes, the closes “win” in modern history.

Candidate goes on to become one of the worst Presidents in the entire history of the country. War, torture, civil and human rights violations – and nearly crashes the economy of the whole world.

    Sounds like a Clancy novel…

You forgot to mention that even with all the vote-scrubbing by the Bushites that Gore STILL got more votes.

I doubt Gore would have been a better choice. Shady or not, I’ll take Bush’s version of dumbass over Gore’s any day.

Also, this Iran protest thing is really taking off. It looks to me like they’re headed for a revolution. You won’t see it on CNN or Fox, but the tweets coming from inside Iran are very promising.
The government is busing/flying in hezbollah thugs to crack skulls, while the young iranians protesting in the street now have the backing of a lot of mullahs.
There are also rumors that Ahmadinnerjacket has fled the country.

And when it happened in 2000, Americans sat around with our fingers up our asses and said Gore would have sucked as a president because Bill got a Hummer, yeah, like they were connected.

  8. Ghost of Dude on June 16, 2009 at 9:21 am said:

Actually, Gore would have sucked as president because he’s even more of an empty suit than Bush – and preachy too.
He’s the weakling all the GOPers are trying to paint Obama as.
Bush’s major flaw was in trusting the wrong people to make decisions. Cheney was downright evil, and Rumsfeld had a serious napoleon complex. The only particularly intelligent people in Bush’s administration were Powell and Rice.
I’d actually like to see Condi Rice get back into politics.

    Powell/Rice 2012!

Boy, wouldn’t that enrage the White Supremists?!

How about a Palin/Rice ticket? They could just make out during WH press conferences.. they wouldn’t even need to have a foreign policy…
