Alison Krauss played the White House last night

Trust me, it was shocking to hear she played at the White House last night, but I will have to give props to Obama for at least picking a good country performer (of course he probably did not pick her, because I’m sure they all cringed when he quoted Garth Brooks before the performance). If you have never seen Alison and her band live, they are remarkable and one of the tightest bluegrass/country bands I have ever seen.

    One of my all time favorite voices in music. Have you heard any of the stuff she did with Robert Plant? Good stuff.
    She’s sung with Brad Paisly before too. Good matchup of voices, plus Paisly’s guitar skills are beyond those of anyone else in country music.
