I also got this comment today about Costello, cracking the whip to cut croutons;
I have worked for Pat Costello in the past and can honestly say he is the most arrogant, uncaring trust-fund baby i have ever encountered. After confronting him about receiving my annual 25 cent raise he responded by telling me “you should be working right now, go cut croutons.†After a few weeks of pleading I managed to receive a meager 15 cent raise and was told “not to expect anything else for six months.†When Pat says he wants to control costs he means it, only he likes to control costs off the backs of the working class so his businesses can reap the benefits. Why would a man who’s been given everything in his life from his wealthy family refuse someone like me, who has to work hard to earn my living, the dignity of a fair pay rate after a year of good service? As far as i am concerned he does not deserve any office in this great city.

Keep Costello out of the mayor’s office and off the council. He’s the worst of the developer types and directly aligned with the worst mayor ever. His political mailout with Munson using taxpayer money is one flaw. There must be other skeletons in his closet. How about netdetective.com ?
I saw some of Staggers. I think he had an off day. Huether looked most candidate-like but he was pretty vague.
I wish I could have been there. Clips looked like another KSFY ‘Town Hall’ canned production with town not included.
I want a t-shirt that says “go cut croutons”. The looks on people’s faces when they read it and try to determine if it is a joke would be priceless.

Anyone who is in business will have an employee or two like this one who certainly has an axe to grind. Does their immediate supervisor agree with the assesment of “a year of good service”? Do the customers? There’s always two sides to the story and the truth usually comes down somewhere in the middle.
I can say one thing, if the attitude expressed in the e-mail is how this person truly is than I highly doubt they perform their job at a high level day in and day out. They need to get out of the service sector altogether and go work at the Post Office.
