The “also ran” of any Presidential election is always given an opportunity to comment on anything which impacts the Executive branch. They used to ask Kerry for a comment every time something impacted Bush too… that is just how it works.
What baffles me about McCain is that he was pretty middle of the road before running for President… but he has slid to the far, far right ever since. Is this because he is bitter or are his true colors coming to the surface?
McCain is not so mavericky now.
Why the MSM media allows him to comment on this subject is beyond me.
