Noem; Government subsidized Healthcare is good enough for me, but not for my constituents

Okay, we all know Noem is a gigantic hypocrite, and isn’t a good liar. Like when she complains about TARP yet takes farm subsidies, or wants to be a lawmaker and breaks the law and doesn’t even make court appearances. As Madville pointed out a few days ago, she thinks the same about healthcare reform. Similiar to farm subsidies, it seems she is okay with getting taxpayers to subsidize her, but they should not receive the same benefits;

It’s not much different than any other employee-based policy that’s offered to people working jobs across this country. And it is completely different than what was included in the health care bill and what that would do to our country, so it’s baseless, and they’re searching for something to criticize and it shouldn’t continue,” Noem said.

It’s not any different then an employee-based policy? Huh? It is different, because taxpayers who are not afforded the same insurance plan have to pay for yours. Not only are you a hypocrite, but you are a fat turd liar. You are however telling the truth about it being different then what is in the healthcare bill. Obama and other Dems allowed the Republicans to strip out the public option before it passed.

Should I be mad at Noem about this? Not at all, just your typical hypocritical greedy SD Republican. I’m mad at the voters for not seeing the blatant hypocrisy of Noem during the campaign and voting the dumbass into office.

Pass me the lime and salt – this is a political group I can get into (H/T – Dr. Barkey)

Wow, finally, someone with a little common sense when it comes to political groups;

Hispanic leaders in Nevada and elsewhere are reportedly considering severing their ties to the Democratic Party andforming an independent, grassroots group called the “Tequila Party.” The idea, according to proponents, is to tap into the rising voting power of Hispanics in order to push for immigration reform and other legislation that Democrats have failed to deliver. Here’s a quick guide:

The ‘Gambler’ is coming to town.

I hope he brings some of those delicious fruit cups;

Kenny Rogers will perform April 2 at the Washington Pavilion with opening act Billy Dean.

Tickets are $49 or $65, on sale for Pavilion members starting at 5:30 p.m. Friday and for the general public starting at 9:30 a.m. Jan. 29.

For $65, not only should you get a fruit cup, but you should be able to sit in Kenny’s lap while he feeds it to you. This is actually a pretty cool show, I’m surprised it isn’t at the Arena, because I’m sure it will sell out.

And the big surprise is?

“And were walking.”

Okay, for over a month the media has been blabbing about the governor making 10% cuts across the board, and guess what he did today?

Gov. Dennis Daugaard’s proposed budget would cut at least 10 percent from virtually every corner of state government.

I just wish for once SD Republicans would be a bit more mysterious.

The 10 percent cuts to K-12 education and Medicaid providers are 5 percent higher than what Gov. Mike Rounds proposed before leaving.

Oh, let’s cut education and healthcare. Goody-Goody. Because, godammit, during a recession nobody deserves doctors and books, that’s silly talk. In fact, this would be the time to increase those two expenditures by 4x and cut slush funds like tourism, FTE’s and no-bid contracts.

But hey, dumb, sick people work cheap, contractors who donate to gubertorial campaigns do not.

Dennis Doogard. Nothing new here, please move along.
