Did the Argus Leader edit the council candidate forum video?

I just watched the At-Large Council Candidate forum that the esteemed Argus Leader’s editorial board held (I did not watch it live). There seems to be a glitsch in the video (I backed the video up to check if it was my system, and it was not). The question posed was about ‘mayor and council relationships’, and Knudson was first to answer the question (FF: 34:30). It seems they cut her answer out of the video. I’m wondering why?

Not sure of the reason, maybe it was a technical issue (the video also ended weird). But I often shake my head when the AL talks about ‘transparency’ then pulls something like this.

NorthDaCola? Not quite.

Sorry for the relapse, but Detroit had to make a trip to Fargo for a few days for job training. Had a great time, and for being 39 years old and working in restaurants for over 22 years, I actually learned a great deal about service, teamwork and BEER. Really, really, good BEER.

I also met a ton of great people while working. Fargo-ites are not much different then SF people, and I could not believe the number of people that have SF ties. One guy said he will look me up when he is visiting his daughter next time in SF. I miss working at a bar rail, you have no place to hide, so you gotta talk to people, and hey, talking about beer is quite fun.

I also brought up politics a bit. The one thing I noticed about Fargo is that they are not regulation happy, but things are well planned out. It is easy to get around, even though it may seem congested, it is not.

IN OTHER NEWS

Ellis wrote a great article today in the Argue Endorser about the council candidates and the upcoming election, worth checking out. I told a friend today that it was one of the most balanced articles I have ever read about council candidates. Ellis always is very fair in his assessment of politicians, and his piece on the At-Large candidates was a shining example of this.
