Thanks for running, I’m voting for you, I think this city needs you on the council.

Emmett is just the kind of person we need to add to our city council…..young, energetic, articulate and will represent all citizens! Watch him on the CHANNEL 16 replays of the forum for city council candidates and
you will see what I mean.
    Go Emmet!

Every point is ‘spot on’ what citizens deserve and we don’t have. Present leadership has made this city a mini Detroit.
Crime is a major issue. 11th Street West 10 blocks from Minnesota has become a Mexican barrio. North Minnesota Ave. is Chinatown. There’s 5 Asian massage parlors (none before Huether). Casinos get robbed daily.
This is an ambitious points plan. Emmett will often be the lone outside vote. He’s got the right perspective but the rest of the council is hypnotized by Huether.

Perhaps it’s just too early, but I’m still trying to parse that first ‘Commitment’

“Adopt a fiscally conservative budget that doesn’t increase the debt without cutting spending or reducing taxes”

So… he DOES want to increase the debt by cutting spending and reducing taxes? Did I read that right?

    Maybe I just need coffee…

Emmett is exactly what the council needs! A smart, articulate, energetic person with a NEW REALISTIC perspective! He definitely has my vote!

  7. From 1/1/2014 on KELO: “SIOUX FALLS, SD – It’s a historic day in Colorado where marijuana is now legal to buy for recreational purposes.
One Sioux Falls man is celebrating. That’s because he played a major role in getting the law passed and now he’s running for Sioux Falls City Council. If elected, he plans to push for new city policies when it comes to pot.”

Huh. Didn’t make his list above. Go figure.

My fiancee and I intend to vote for Emmett, and his sensible views on marijuana policy are actually part of the reason we’re doing so.
