Dalsin did not install the panels that are messed up – at least that is my impression from what i have read.As I understand, their lien(s) are for other work performed. Did the company that installed the panels get paid for their work?

Actually all the siding is bad. The west side is the most often highlighted because it visually shows the worst. It all must be replaced with weather tight permanent finish.

MJ Dalsin installed what they were told to install. Very likely when the crappy finish was brought up, MG McGraff was brought in to just force the siding to work.

McGraff have a very long and close working relationship with Mortenson. The pinnacle center in Lincoln is another McGraff site looking just as bad.

Dalsin probably did nothing wrong. The city way for discounts is not to pay the small contractors. They did it for Daniels Construction citing there’s no appeal in ordinances and per Home Rule Charter. It worked in 2004 but state law now trumps this per recent court cases. Not only must the city pay the liens, they’ll also owe court costs and the city bond rating will be lowered.
