UPDATE 2: A fun Sunday afternoon in Vermtown

Cameraman Bruce and I head South to film a mini-documentary with former USD Law Professor Mike Myers at his former place of employment. Things get really interesting, especially when small town cops start pulling Latin law terms out of their butts that they don’t understand. Stay tuned.

Moses – HUH! They should have arrested Rounds before the election 🙂

THC – Patience Grasshopper, we are telling the story, and it is an interesting one.

The ACLU has an office in Pierre. They’re always out to lunch.

A very misunderstood, beautiful guarantee of American life is read to us by Professor Mike Myers.

Injustices are everywhere and the only way we the people can protect ourselves is by constantly fighting for the 1st Amendment. Without the 1st Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, the rest of them are worthless. If our voices are silenced, it does not matter how many physical weapons you have, you are just fighting in silence. If we lose our 1st Amendment we are just doing what we are told.

There is a reason it is the 1st of all Amendments.

Professor Myers looked up at these words placed the University of South Dakota’s Al Neuharth Center and read them to us.

I believe that Mike
is a just man, and what he has to say is so also. Keep up the good work. We need more people like you.
