Greetings! Joshua Schorzmann here. I am emailing you to let you know
that I have started a political fundraising consulting business in
order to aid Democrats in their respective state races. I would be
extraordinarily happy if you would check out my website at

3 Thoughts on “The Dems have a new stool leg in SD

I saw a democrat once but later found out it was a Jackalope. Supposedly Huether is democrat. Ya right, and Trump is republican.

This is a great idea. I hope it succeeds. I also dream of some wealthy South Dakota Democrat or wealthy person with South Dakota ties willing to do the same with a Super PAC to help Democratic legislative candidates in this state, too.

Although, the latter idea might not be chic with most fellow liberal Democrats in the state. It would not be the first time Super PACs have come into South Dakota to help liberal Democratic candidates.

If you cannot beat them they say you should join them. Well, I am not suggesting we all join the GOP and become a bunch of “Rhinos.”

However, until Citizens United is overturned as Democrats we need to think like them if we want to be able to beat them on the political battlefield.

I believe this Super PAC idea is very doable given the multiple DC and national contacts, which many of our major state Democratic leaders in the state and DC have.

It is time as Democrats in South Dakota that we stop just using our state party, capabilities, and resources for the congressional wing of the party and its ambitions; and the idea of a Super PAC along with the aforementioned PAC, which seems to be developing with great promise, are definitely steps in the right direction for South Dakota Democrats.
