VOTE YES on Amendment ‘F’

I know I have mentioned before the Amendments and voting yes on all except the mayoral term limits. But I want to talk about the importance of voting YES on ‘F’. The city of Sioux Falls should not tolerate discrimination on any level. VOTE YES on ‘F’!

If they would only Practice the wording that Amendment F has in it. I’m sure if one nosed around the Police and Fire Department’s you’d hear a lot of laughs because this isn’t what’s practiced. Funny how the Asst. SFPD Chief announced her retirement and then retired. Shortly thereafter Matt Burns was made to replace her. Then, BINGO, Barthel announced his plans to retire. Why didn’t he announce his retirement first before the Asst. Chief? I believe this was a way to get around what this Amendment’s wording has in it. When you don’t have integrity at the highest level of Police Administration and then pretend you admire the poor souls who work under you policing the community, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out why public respect for SF Finest is going to the sewer. It’s because of Administration’s like those of Barthel. I feel this was a very political and selfish move on the part of then SFPD Chief Doug Barthel and his good ole boy club. I feel sorry for the officer’s under the City Administration and those who served under Barthel. I believe they sure got a undeserved lesson by his control freakery. WOW…Equality, huh? Ass kissing is more like what you have to do to climb ranks. That isn’t fair.
