No time for court or ethics hearings, Mayor Huether has better things to do

Check Please?

You’d think he had an emergency checkup with his proctologist, or a listening and learning session at the food court in the mall with the amount of zeal our mayor expressed at the county commission meeting yesterday (FF: to about 50:00). This is the same guy who would rather have a tube stuffed up his rear end instead of testifying in a court case, or not going to his own ethics hearing 100 feet from his office door. He is way to busy for such minor events. He did however have time to make an appearance yesterday around 10 AM at the County Commission meeting to testify as a proponent of putting more water into the sleugh he built his vacation home on (Diamond Lake). Amazing he could find the time with all the important things he has to do and all the important orifices in his body that need to be checked (by emergency of course).

I also found it ironic he had to chew out people for public input at 9:50 PM on Tuesday (like it was getting to late for grandpa Huether) but somehow he managed to stay at the Paul McCartney concert until 11:30 PM on Monday night.

We know what your priorities are Mr. Mayor. Clean butts and brown noses.

Thats not a lake, it’s a bleeping slough. Ironically he wants to dictate activity in his neighborhood but he doesn’t give 2 shits about yours and mine. But he supports the permit. Kinda sorta. Just as long as the county cleans up his little slough. He knows the river is sewage, but his little puddle is priority number 1.

I will say the reactors should be required for every ag tile project.

mmm lives on a body of water that by the 4th of July is pea green and smells like a backed up sewer. So he wants the county to fork over the money not only for tile, but also buy a nitrogen bioreactor. This guy should take a dose of his own medicine. In Sioux Falls if you want drinking water, you PAY for it….dearly. $4.14 a thousand gallons. In fact if you live anywhere near SF and need their water, like Harrisburg, Swanson Tracts, and Skyline Heights do, then mmm and cotter really stick it to you. $6.97 for a thousand gallons. Just part of mmm’s good neighbor policy. I always am amazed at cotter showing how cheap SF water is compared to Harrisburg. It’s because you charge them ridiculously high prices for the stuff.

So, you want something, pay for it, like you expect everyone else to do.

His lake home is 70 miles away. He only comes to town to play tennis. He’s angry because he can’t rig something outside city limits. There’s no ethics issues if you’re not here and won’t show for a federal court subpoena. Sioux Falls is a sovereign nation and Minnehaha County is becoming so.

Wonder how much he has invested in his Diamond Lake property?

He can stay up and boogie to someone who is an admitted and convicted Marijuana user, but has a jail in his city that locks people up for way less marijuana than Paul got caught with at different times. If he is trying to protect the community from crimes committed by drug user’s and the mentally ill, staying up that late to enjoy the show, just goes to prove he doesn’t practice what he preaches. Did he have the PD K-9 units at the airport to sniff out the luggage? If not, why? He is trying to protect the city from Drugs, right? He seemingly doesn’t want to listen to his constituents late at night at a council meeting but can be there to clap, welcome, sing and stomp to the drug culture. What a hypocrite.
