At Large Sioux Falls City Council member Theresa Stehly on the push for more Neighborhood Watch programs prior to the Mayor’s questionable bad neighbor presser on June 22, 2016.

Theresa wants to encourage a spirit of kindness, respect and support for all the citizens of Sioux Falls. Expanding the project nice program to a city wide clean-up day would be one step to help all the citizens with tax dollars. Other communities like Fargo and Brookings do it and so can we.

We can work together to foster a helpful loving community for all citizens . The neighborhood watch program has been a fabulous tool for her area for the past 20 years.

Theresa Stehly is out in the community encouraging neighbors to look out for neighbors to help when and where needed.

5 Thoughts on “Sioux Falls City Councilor Stehly on Neighborhood Watch

The mayor has no place pointing out bad neighbors. The city is the real bad guy. They send out a goon to threaten you with unenforceable codes. The citation process is double jeopardy. Court cases are dismissed because city judicial process is unconstitutional. If the mayor wants to involve neighbors, do it with his neighbors 60 miles out of town.

Stehly has the right approach. I’d take it one big step further with neighborhood vigilantes that handle the job the city sucks at.

  2. Council Member Stehley has the right idea – and the neighbors proved it by their involvement.

What did Huether prove? He’s been trying things his way “for more than a year” without success. He failed and so did his illegal threats.

Admit the system is broken and concentrate on fixing it so people can have fair, legal hearings. No, you’d rather have an illegal income source and hold meaningless press conferences.

I’m sure the property owners are sitting outside of your reach laughing at you right now. Keep churning out those meaningless citations.

Stehly = Major Trumper. Next she will want to take the public pool money and build a wall!

Theresa is following in the footsteps of Kermit Staggers. He was never too bothered about getting pats on the back for doing the right thing and neither will she be. Theresa is a revolutionary. Not in the sense of radically hurting people, but rather making changes with a good heart for the people to look at openly. She is like a can opener of transparency for the citizen’s of Sioux Falls. I don’t expect her to win any popularity contests within the ranks of the Ass licking, self worship types within the self-seeking bounds of City Administrator’s in Sioux Falls that have been comforted under the shroud of complacent Mayoral rule in recent years. She is a doer, not a sayer.

I didn’t want Stehly elected. The council and mayor are corrupt. Stehly belongs in a public service post, not with the city country club. Home Rule Charter makes the mayor a tyrant with the council his jesters. The city clerk left awhile back. She found ethics and honesty working for the state. Stehly belongs with the county or state until after the Feds arrest city crime syndicate godfathers and lieutenants.
