Summarily, half the children in this town get some form of public assistance. 3,500 children on a waiting list for basic shelter is embarrassing. It’s criminal how government has not responded. It’s probably because they’re busy building coliseums, private tennis clubs, and bathhouses for the upper class. We’re not a third world country but only because we’re lying to ourselves.
