The Sioux Falls Development Foundation is trying to get former SF residents to come back;

“Our intent is to bring more employees back to Sioux Falls,” Clemensen said. “We’re looking to fill a portion of our more than 3,000 open positions in the city.”

I think is it a great idea 1) it keeps the boomtown meth lab rats away and 2) as long as they are not coaxing people back for $11 an hour jobs.

3 Thoughts on “Coming Home?

    Wrong approach. People left and resettled where they’re appreciated and happy. Try to attract new employees from areas where the economy is down.
    The real message here: Come back if you miss your friends and family but don’t expect a better job or higher wages.
    I’d like to see more immigrants from places like Southeast Asia, Mexico, North Africa, and Syria. The equation is that the baby boomers retired, their kids are spoiled or meth addicted, the millennials are illiterate because this school district only funds schools in wealthy neighborhoods, and most single parents stay home because welfare pays better. Most play video games and can’t focus learning a skill. Bring in immigrants who appreciate a better quality of life, cherish their liberty, and THEY VOTE.

  2. Maybe this could be the theme song for the campaign:
