First off, a big shout out to Frank Kloucek for the excellent Kolaches, and the Old Lumber Company in Vermillion for the drinks and food.
CMB (Cameraman Bruce) and I headed to Vermillion last night to see the Folklore of the Gear-Up Wall for ourselves and the explanation of ‘what might have happened’ by the USD senior poli-sci class. While the students were NOT there, their gracious professor worked us through the yarn.
Hopefully we can edit this video to make everyone understand, somehow.

I look forward to your edited video.
Glad you found this exhibit. Conventional wisdom [or folklore ?] peddled by the Political Establishment members of the GOAC committee was that this exhibit was no longer ‘on display’; disassembled and packed up; no longer available for viewing even should the committee be interested to schedule a meeting in Vermillion.
We were told that the display was viewed by DCI and the AG several times. I think photos were taken to. You are right (sorry to delete your ‘sensitive’ comments) but I am personally wondering how long it will remain.
None of this surprised me. Just a bunch of greedy consultants cashing in. All the information acquired for the board was done by googling. So if you have any ambition, you could recreate this pretty easily.
A red letter day! I have suffered the fate of censorship by Mr Ehrisman on South Dacola. It is very true that slogan, “if you have been censored on Soutb Dacola, you have really crossed a line”.
I don’t allow threats of violence on my website. It is the main reason I started monitoring comments. If you want to use your real name and make these comments publicly, go for it. But not on my site.
“We were told that the display was viewed by DCI and the AG several times. I think photos were taken too.”
Wow, how sad. You would think they would have their own board. Aren’t, or weren’t they taking notes? Can you imagine Mueller going before the Georgetown or Harvard University government or political science department and asking to see their “board” concerning Russian collusion….. What is this, Mayberry?
