Rex Rolfing questions Events Center siding, May 27, 2014

Here is the first time the rippling siding is mentioned by Rolfing at a city council informational meeting. (FF: 24:00). Notice the answer from Mortenson if it is an ‘Issue’. The rep says, “I’m not saying that.”

This snarky letter cracks me up;

I read that letter as well and I honestly think it was Mayor Fine Print that was the true author.

the only thing missing is a chorus of “how great though art.”

Once the SD State Supreme Court released its decision, I bet this archived video would have quickly disappeared. Thank you to those private citizens who have insured that no more Council meetings magically disappear.

After all, the recordings of public meetings belong to all taxpayers, not to any individual.

Rex was really howling like a lone wolf on this siding issue.

Whatever happened to Kendra?

She went to work for MIDCO right after the indoor pool was finished.

Notice how that Councilor Kiley nods his head in agreement when it is brought up.

Turbak was asked if he knew the salary range of the ten fulltime EC employees, and the part timers salaries. He said he’d get that info right back to them. Three years later and I’m sure that question has yet to be answered. Another reason this vid has probably been scrubbed clean from the city files? Sideras is in it.

For the record, the video does exist in SIRE on city website . . . for now.

Rex speaks up. Huether’s wood puppet has life and without his brown nose growing.
